Terms and Conditions of Self-Managed server
Server Setup/Duration/Cancellation Notice:
1. Upon acceptance of this agreement, the deployment of the cloud hosted server can take up to 72 hours to be commissioned and ready for use.
2. A minimum of 3 (Three) months cloud server hosting subscription is required.
3. All cancellations require a 30-day notice period to allow you to migrate all your data from the cloud server and to allow cancellation of your server licenses.
4. Your cloud server includes Cleeks Online database backup with a minimum of 5GB backup storage. Should you require more backup storage, kindly send an e-mail to info@alnettechnologies.com
5. Your cloud server includes Webroot End Point Cybersecurity antivirus.
6. Your cloud server does not include Ms Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Should you require Ms Office 365 on the server, then this can be setup at an additional charge of R 290.00 (Excl. VAT) per user per month and can be added to your monthly cloud server billing.
The Support Desk will assist Self-managed VPS customers in the following scenarios:
1. Server is inaccessible or offline.
2. Server is slow which a VPS customer can’t fix (E.g., slow network speed, high CPU steal time, slow disk read/write).
3. Server specifications do not match the packages listed on the website.
The Support Desk won't be able to assist Self-managed customers in the following scenarios:
1. Troubleshooting website/email/services issues in Self-managed server.
2. Configuring websites/email accounts in Self-managed server.
3. Adding/removing/upgrading/troubleshooting software like apache, MySQL,Exim, postfix, tomcat, Joomla, cPanel, Webmin etc. on a Self-managed server.
4. Installing or configuring any third-party applications or tools.
5. Ransomware or any malicious malware virus attacks to the server. We recommend restoring a backup.
6. Database backups should be done by the client unless the client has opted for the Cleeks Cloud online backup solution to be installed on the hosted self-managed server.
7. If we are requested by the client to do maintenance, reboot of the server or fix something on an unmanaged server, unfortunately there is a charge which is R 650.00 (Excl. VAT) per hour. However, we could not assure you on its fix.
Payment Disclaimer:
1. All invoices will be automatically generated and sent to the contact person above for payment.
2. Payment is due in the current month of the invoice being generated.
3. There will be a grace period of 7 (seven) days to reconcile the payment onto the customer account.
4. All unpaid hosting fees after the grace period will be shut down on the 8 (eight) day.
5. There will be a reconnection fee of R 950.00 (Excl. VAT) to activate the server again.
